ESCCA Elections 2025: Call for Candidates

El presidente de la ESCCA, sociedad de la cual la SIC es filial, nos hace llegar la siguiente información para los socios interesados, miembros de ambas sociedades:
Dear ESCCA Member,
2025 is an election year for the Executive Board. The election takes place online from 2-17 September 2025. All interested ESCCA Members with an active 2025 membership account are invited to submit their candidacy.
The role of ESCCA board members is to ensure that our society’s goals are pursued and to support our member’s interests. Duties include strategic planning, organising educational events and identifying areas of interest for initiating new projects, among other things. All board members are active participants in the scientific committee for our annual conference, and we also work with other organisations; ESCCA has representation within the Biomed Alliance and on the ICCS Outreach committee. Mandates are for 4 years.
Submitting a candidacy is straightforward, the details are below. Deadline for submission is Thursday, 15 August 2025
Candidates for the ESCCA Executive Board please submit:
- Letters of support from two active ESCCA ordinary members
- A concise professional profile, including a statement indicating your motivation and how you will support ESCCA’s activities, if elected (maximum 800 characters)
- A recent photo of yourself in jpg format
ESCCA Board members applying for an additional term through Board Nomination please submit:
- A concise professional profile, including a statement indicating motivation and how you will support ESCCA’s activities, if re-elected (maximum 800 characters)
- A recent photo of yourself in jpg format
